DAIRY FARMER'S DEATH.

w STRATFOKD, Thursday. A farmer, Alfred James Smith, aged 81, of Cardiff, was found dead in a motorshed on his farm to-day. .... trl A note was found attached to deceased's coat. It stated: I dont intend being responsible f° r makm '| butterfat below cost, viz., Od to 7d.J[ will let someone else try it. I m too o to take responsibility any longer. A note was also found, written in shorthand, intimating where further leu t'fers to deceased's family would be found. At the inquest a eon said deceased had been despondent and had continually complained of the low price of verdict was returned by Mr W.L. Kennedy, coroner, of suicide by hanging while depressed over financial worries.
