SOME DOUBTFUL SECTIONS.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Some sections of the recently enacted < Companies Act give rise to differences 1 of opinion on their interpretation, ; according to statements made at a : meeting of the executive and investigation committee of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. It was stated to be important that doubtful matters should be cleared up definitely as soon as possible. A sub-committee was appointed to confer with the registrar of companies and to take action to prevent misunderstanding of certain puzzling sections of the Act.
