TO AMALGAMATE WITH WOODVILLE. LOSS OX RECENT MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, this day. After it« recent experience in racing at Woodville, when the Dannevirke Racing Club loest about £300 at their autumn meeting, it was decidcd at a general gathering of the club, in view of the unsatisfactory financial position, to amalgamate with the Woodville Jockey Club if possible, on such terms as may be considered advisable. The motion was carried, with only one dissentient, on a vote of the financial members. The total indebtedness of the club is about £7100, including £4400 under mortgages. From the point of view of the guarantors it is considered almost hopeless to carry on racing at Dannevirke.
