AGA KHAN BEATS PANGO. POMP VICTOR IN STAKES. VOITRE AND L. J. ELLIS LEAD IN JOCKEYS' PREMIERSHIP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ Thursday. The keen tussle between Iv. Voitre and L. J. Ellis for the New Zealand jockeys' premiership added much interest to the racing nt Awapuni to-day, when the Manawatu Racing Club's autumn meeting was concluded in delightful -weather. The totals at the start of the day were Voitre 51, Ellis 50. By winning on Prostration and Ago. Khan in the first two flat races Ellis took the lead, but Voitre equalled the score at 52 by piloting Aiguille to victory in the next event. In the subsequent races neither jockey gained a place. W. J. Broughton rode the last two winners, Golden Chant and Senior and is third on the list with 4S. Then come 11. N. Wiggins 39, P. S. Atkins 34, A. H. Eastwood 33 and' A. E. Ellis 32.

This defeat of Diatomons by Pomp in tlio Manawatu Stakes and tlic unplaced performance of Coronilla in the Cloverlca Nursery Handicap were features of tlic racing.
