The following table furnishes a guide to investors. It shows the trend of the market over twelve months for a comprehensive list of securities, at the same time indicating the latest movements, namely, from a weeK ago to the date of compilation. The rate of interest obtainable to present dnj purchasers is also presented, the calculations based on the latest dividends. Following last review turnover has been well maintained, with most lines showing only minor fluctuations. A special featuie has been a. sharp rise 111 Waihis, which have advanced 6/ in the week. Colonial Sugars have eased a little.

It will be noted from the figures quoted below that most stocks have shown an appreciable advance over the last twelve months, and as dividends have, generally speaking, not. been raised, the interest return to present puichaseis is correspondingly reduced.
