Tlie final swimming , carnival of tlie season was held by the Whangarei Swim-, mlng Club at the school baths last lilght. The weather was cold and the attendance was not large. The swimming was. however, interesting, and several close finishes wore witnessed. The main event at' the evening was the North Auckland championship over 1!1?0 yards, which was won by \\.
