NOT SATISFIED.
COURT ADJOURNS CASE. HORSE TRAINER CHARGED. A horse trainer named Frederick .John Smith, of Takanini, was charged at Papakura yesterday, that lie jumped cif t!ie Limited express at Papakura while the train was in motion. When the ease was called before Mr. F. 11. Lcvien, S.M., Constable T. Holland explained that the Railway Department had instructed him to withdraw the charge. Mr. Lcvien was not satisfied with the letter from the Department. He said it was not sufficient for him to agree to such a course, and adjourned the ease till next court day to enable the Department to give better reasons for asking that the case be struck out.
