LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
MOUNT ALBERT CLUB. The sixth annual meeting of the Mount Albert Rugby League Club was held in the King George Hall, Mount Albert, last evening. Commenting on the report and bal-ance-sheet presented, the president, Mr. J. Eccles, congratulated the club on its success during the year. The balancesheet showed the club to be in a very sound position financially. The election of officers resulted: Patron, the Mayor of Mount Albert. Mr. Ferner; vice-patron, Mr. A. S. Richards. M.P. ; president, Mr. J: Eccles; chairman of committee, Mr. R. Wilson ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Shaw; assistant secretary, Mr. C. S. Smith; club captain. Mr. F. Martin; auditor, Mr. B. Gallaugher; committee, Messrs. R. Larson, B. Davis. R. Mackrell, B. Mcllveen, K. Wright, W. Bagnall. The past secretary. Mr. W. F. Clarke, who had hold office since the inception of the club, tendered his resignation, and as a mark of appreciation was elected a life member.
