MRS. KANE'S FUNERAL.
The funeral of Mrs. Rosetta L. Kane j n Wellington yesterday was attended by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W Forbes, and Mrs. Forbes, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, and Lady Alyers, Mr. Justice Blair, Sir Walter Stringer, Sir Harold and Lady Beauchamp, Messrs. R. A. Wright and W. H. Field, M.F.'s, Mr. R. W. Gibbs, chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand, and many leading figures in educational circles and representatives of the various, organisations in whicli Mrs. Kane took an interest. Messages 7f cv.nnithv were received from the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and officially from Ministers of the Crown.
