DOCTOR'S ARRIVAL.
REACHES LITTLE AMERICA. NEW ZEALANDERS PRAISED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Dr. L. Fotaka, of Nelson, who left by the exploration vessel Discovery 11. for Antarctica, has arrived at Little America. Twenty-one New Zealand volunteers with the Bvrd expedition, who arrived at Port Chalmers on the Jacob Ruppert, left on return to Wellington. The work of the New Zealanders during the course of the voyage was the subject of high praise from the master of the ship, who stated that had it not been for their efficiency and zeal the tremendous amount of stores could not have been unloaded from the Jacob Ruppert on to the ice during the hazardous days the ship spent at Little America.
