MYSTERY DEEPENS.
SHOT IN MISSING MAN'S CAR. SYDNEY, February 22. A bullet liole has been discovered in the hood of the motor ear in which Mr. George Nott, stock and station agent, left Pilliga, .'584 miles north-west of Sydney, last Wednesday. ■ The car was found in the Xamoi River, but Mr. Xott lias not been seen since. The discovery has confirmed the suspicions of the police that the missing man was murdered. They are making a search over a wide area of rain-soaked plains and scrub country.
