YESTERDAY'S WEDDING
MEULI—KISSLING. .. The wedding of Miss Margaret Joan (Meg) Kissling, only daughter of Mr*. Kissling and the late Mr. Herbert P. Kissling, of St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, and Mr. Xelson George Meuli, only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Meuli, of Wanganui, was celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral last evening. The church was beautifully dccorated by the bride's giii friends. Canon Fancourt conducted the service and the organist was Mr. E. Randal. The bridal robe of ivory corded ottoman faille, cut on slender, closefitting lines, was enhanced by long-fitting sleeves, square-cut yoke and a fish train cut in one with the skirt. A billowy tulle veil was held in place by three folds and sprigs of orange blossom, and formed a second train. The bride earned a sheaf of Philippine lilies. Two bridesmaids. Misses Meg Russell and Ethel Seavill. were in attendance, and their water lily • green georgette frocks were fashioned with wide tucks from the top of the bodices to the knees. Fan godets formed the deep hems, and small fan epaulettes graced the shoulders. Their headdresses and shower bouquets were made of zinnias. Mr. Trevor Kissling, the bride's brother gave her away and Mr. Neil Hay Campbell supported the bridegroom. A reception was afterwards held at the residence of Mrs. Kissling. the rooms being, decorated in multi-coloured blooms. Mrs. Kissling received her guests wearing a smokemole embossed georgette, inset with panels and yoke of lace. A brown picture hat trimmed with ostrich feathers was accompanied by an autumn shaded bouquet. Mrs. Meuli. the bridegroom's mother, wore a ciel blue lace frock and black tulle toque relieved with blue. A bouquet of. blue delphiniums was carried.
