ARCHBISHOP REDWOOD
JUBILEE FELICITATIONS. JEWISH COMMUNITY LETTER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The president, Mr. M. M. Heinemann, and Rabbi liatz, on behalf of the Jewish congregation of Wellington, have forwarded the following letter to Archbishop Redwood:— "We take great pleasure in extending to you our since and heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of your consecration as Bishop of the Holy Catholic Church. We are deeply sensible of the great and noble service you 'have rendered to the godly cause of human welfare in our midst. Your power and influence have always been exerted in the best interests of communal peace, fellowship and cooperation. You have been a veritable tower of strength for the preservation and promotion of the highest and noblest ideals in civic and national life, j "We fervently pray that God may I continue to bestow His gracious blessings upon you and grant you health and strength to carry on the sacred duties of your holy office for many years to come." A letter from Archbishop Redwood was read at the Methodist conference to-day thanking the conference for its cordial greetings.
