ROTORUA HIGH SCHOOL.

PARENTS' ASSOCIATION. KOTORUA, Wednesday. There was a good attendance at tlia annual meeting of the Rotorua High School Parents' Association last evening, the chair being occupied by the retiring . president, Mr. A. G. Holland. In view of the fact that it had been : freely stated in town that, owing to the cost of books, uniforms, etc., some : parents were keeping their children an : extra year at the primary school, the following resolution was passed: "That it be placed 011 record and given the fullest ' publicity that the headmaster is pro- \ pared to meet any parent so situated [ and should a parent consider the linail- - eial outlay for the first year too great ' he would be glad to explain to what 1 extent lie would be prepared to assist ' from the school funds."
