ONE UNITED CHURCH.
PRESBYTERIAN-METHODIST. (By Teloßrapli.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday.' A deputation waited on the Methodist Conference to-day, conveying the greetings of the Presbyterian Church. In the course of an address, the moderator, the Rev. D. D. Scott, said he thought they were justified in thinking that the history of the two Churches during the past century had revealed that tlicy were working along converging lines rather than parallel lines which would never meet, and he and many other Presbyterians'hoped the process would be hastened and that in the not far distant future they would form one united Church, identified in common aims and efforts for the Kingdom of God in this land.
