OFFICERS ELECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. At the annual meeting of the Gas Institute the following office bearers were elected: President, Mr. J. J. Hurley (Christchurch); vice-president and secretary, Mr. A. M. Taylor (Timavu); treasurer, Mr. G. A. McFarlane (Christchurch) ; council, Messrs. B. O'loole (Invercargill), J. Lowe (Auckland), F. Belton (Christchurch), M. J. Kennedy and Wm. J. Grenfell (Oamaru); auditor, Mr. H. C. Ridley (Christchurch); trustee, Mr. A. Couper (Dunedin).
