MINE TO WORK.
ROTOWARO DECISION. MANAGER REPORTS TO MEN. RESUMPTION TO-MORROW. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) HUXTLY, this day. As the result of a further meeting of miners employed at the Rotownro lniiiei this, morning to receive a report from j Mr. J.'Watson, mine superintendent, with regard to the position that \uul arisen through alleged preterenee being given to men from outside miner!, the mine will be working to-morrow. The manager stated that (he nmu in quest ion, through previously working at Wilton mine, which is under Te Akatea Union, had forfeited his right to be re-engaged at Kutowuro. The men who have been re-engaged are membors of the Northern Miners' Union. The miners returned home to-day, as Mr. Watson stated that if the meeting was carried on longer than a few minutes the mine would be closed.
