"LOOKING FORWARD."
ST. JAMES' NEW FILM. The screen version of "Service," C. L. Anthony's famous British play, "Looking Forward" is the main picture on an entertaining programme to have its premier presentation at the St. James' Theatre to-morrow. This production has an array of many prominent players, including Lewis Stone, Benita Hume, Elizabeth Allan, Colin Clive, and Lionel Barryinore, and the cast is said to give the story a worthy interpretation. The story deals with the experience of a bookkeeper who, after 40 years' service in a big concern, is dismissed. His wife and children then take a bakery business, of which they make a bis success, and into the story comes another business man, whose wife shows such affection for another nian that she elopes with him. All criticisms of "Looking Forward" are distinctly good, and the picture should prove a big success in Auckland. Slim Summerville and Zasu Pitts give a characteristic performance in "Love, Honour and Oh, Baby!"—the film which will close a season at the theatre to-day.
