BIRTHDAY PARTY.
A representative gathering of exstudents of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, parents and friends, on Saturday evening celebrated the twentyfirst birthday of Mr. L. Speed. The function, at which 120 guests were present, was organised by Mr. H. P. Leeves, with the assistance of Mrs. R. Speed, the hostess, and a committee of four members of the gymnastic class, of which Mr. L. Speed is a prominent member. The hall was gaily decorated in the college colours. Mr. L.
