PRESENTATION.
Mr. C. <T. Ward was farewelled by the members of the staff and the employees of Messrs. Modern Shoes, Ltd., on his relinquishing his position as factory manager. Eulogistic references to his sterling qualities were made, and lie-was presented with a token of the esteem in which he was held by all.
