PISTOLS AND TOOLS.
CHARGE AGAINST LABOURER. BAIL FIXED AT £2.50. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. George Albert Edwards, aged 34, labourer and mechanic, was charged to-day with being a rogue and a vagabond in that he Was found in possession of implements of house-breaking, viz., gelignite, detonators, fuse, rubber gloves and a jemmy. In agreeing to a remand; the police asked for substantial bail, the chief detective stating that, in addition to a full burglar's kit, Edwards had in his possession an automatic pistol, a water pistol and a bottle of ammonia. "He's apparently a very dangerous typo of man to be about," said the chief detective. Bail was fixed at £250.
