SWORD OF THE CZARS.
Priceless Treasure Found in Wall in Leningrad. OLD AS ROMANOFF HISTORY. (Received 11.30 a.m.) WARSAW, February G. The missing Holy Sword of the Czars was discovered built into a wall in the Winter Palace at Leningrad. The sword is as old as Romanoff history, and is a marvellously worked Cossack sabre. The pommel is embedded with 30 large diamonds, each commemorating a famous victory. The sword was usually part of the CroAvn jewels, from which it was missing after the revolution. It was accidentally discovered during repairs to the wail. A card attached to the sword read: "The Holy Sword shall not fall into the hand of the enemy."
