FIXTURES. 'Saturday, February 10.—Club ChampionSunday,' February 11.—Club Kun. There was a good muster of Lynndale riders competing in the cycle races held at the Domain last Saturday, in conjunction with the athletic championships. These all gave a good account of themselves, C. Gooder, the club s scratch rider, being the most successful, winning both the one and two-mile events as he pleased H. Norris .won his heat of the mile and showed much improvement by gaining second place in the final. B Scott was third in his heat of the mile being also third in the final. He seems to be right in form, as he was second in the one-mile at Lynndale on Anniversary Day. W. Chisholm IB also developing a good style. He was second in his heat of the mile H. W. Smith has developed a powerful sprint, which he used to advantage to gain third place in the two-miler. . Good contests should be witnessed next Saturdav, when the club championships will be held. The seniors will be catered for with a kilometre unpaced, a two-lap sprint, with heat of two, and a threemile, with a special trophy for the rider gaining the most laps. Ihere will be a B grade championship of a mile, or a one mile handicap race The juniors w; race over a mile, while the ladies will do a half-mile. The junior section will be very even, although Freddv Johnson has been showing to advantage in the open race?. Several of the new riders are showing promise, so a good race is expected On Sundav a club run will be held to Mission Bay, where an enjoyable day should be spent. Riders will be pleased to know that everything is in hand to make an early start with, the road season. The old circuit is again available, while several new routes are in view.
