Mrs. Giessler has returned after spending a holiday at Takapuna, and is spending tlie remainder of her holiday at her seaside cottage (it Taniaterau. Miss l Poole motored through to Auckland last Sunday, and is spending a holiday at Murray's Bay. Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Tapper are spending a short time at The Chateau Tongariro.
Miss N. Poultridgc, of Gisborne, returned home this week, after a holiday spent at McGregor's Bay. Misses Eileen and Patricia Morrin are leaving on Monday to finish their education at St. Mary College, Auckland. Visitors to Wliangarei last week were Miss Flower (Kaikoura), Miss Watson (Oxford, Canterbury), and Miss Kerr (Kohimarama), who were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Colthart, of Ha tea Street. Mr. find Mrs. F. Higginson, of "Fairy Mount," Hospital Road, Wliangarei, returned to Wliangarei on Wednesday, after an enjoyable motor tour, which included various points in the South Island. " .'
