Mr. J. Steadman, of Johannesburg, l who is walking round the world, arrived; at Opotiki yesterday, looking very fit. He has travelled for 2J- years all over South Africa, Australia, and from the Bluff northward. From here ho will walk to Auckland, whence he intends travelling to Japan, China,, India, Europe, Canada, and the United States. He expects to be away from home six years altogether.
