AMBASSADOR TO TOKYO

(Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, January 30. The King has approved of the appointment of Sir Kobert Henry Clive, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Holy See, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tokyo in succession to Sir Francis Lindley, who is to retire shortly.
