SHORT LOANS AND BILLS. Short luans. I per cnt. and three months' bills, 1 per cent, arc the same as last week. The Bank ef Enfrland discount rate is 2 per cent, to which it was reduced from 2£ per cent on June 30, 1932. CONSOLS AND STOCKS. VALUES ARE STEADY. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON. January 25.
