AFTER TWO YEARS.
MRS. ALFRED NATHAN RETURNS.
After an absence of two rears from Auckland Mrs. Alfred Nathan returned by the Mariposa this morning. For the last two months she has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Nat Madison, in Hollywood, where Mr. Madison is busy acting in films. He has just finished one in conjunction with George Arliss which will be released in New Zealand later in the year. Mrs. Nathan said that her daughter had settled down to life in America and they had a beautiful home just out of Hollywood.
While away tvatlian spent most of licr time in London, where she stayed with her two daughters, La<ly Tuck and Mrs. Lumley Frank. Amonp the many brilliant social functions Mrs. Nathan attended when in London was the Royal Garden party in June. She said the coming season in London was expected to be of unusual importance. Invitations were being sent out before Mrs. Nathan left for numerous functions, the first being the Queen's Drawing Rooms, as Her Majesty's receptions are called by Londoners.
