Business on tlie Auckland Stock Exchange continues at a satisfactory level, and there has been a substantial turnovei during the past 24 hours. government stocks have received more attention, with buyera keen at full late rates. At this morning's call conditions were less brisk, and most business was recorded in tne mining section. After a sale ot Blackwater at £1 15/3, there were still buyers at £1 15/. Consolidated.? were in demand at 17/, and Waihis at 29/10. In the banking section Aew Zealands continued to weaken, with sellers at i-i 8/6,- and best buyers offering 1/ less.
