40 MILES OF PIPING.
INSULATED CARGO CAPACITY. BLUE STAR SHIP LOADING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Forty miles of brine piping in 80 separate cargo compartments and a total insulated cargo capacity of nearly 700,000 cubic feet is evidence offered in support of the claim that the Avelona Star, a Blue Star liner, has the largest insulated capacity for cargo of any ship afloat. She arrived from Napier to continue loading for England, and leaves on Friday for Auckland. For many years this ship was on the passenger run from England to South Africa, and now, after her conversion into a cargo carrying vessel, is loading her first shipment of New Zealand produce for England.
