BROTHERS INJURED.
COLLISION AT WELLINGTON,

WELLINGTON, Friday,
A collision occurred at Taita between a taxicab driven by Mr. Pierce James Carroll, of Lower Hutt, and a motor cycle ridden by Mr. Russell Hayston, of Upper Hutt. The latter's brother Mervyn was riding on the pillion seat.' The rider of the motor cycle was seriously injured, sustaining a compound fracture of the right leg; and injuries to. the wrist and other parte of his body. His brother received a cut on the right jknee. The condition of both brothers, who were taken to the hospital, is satis-fac-torv.
