COCKTAIL PARTY.

Mrs. Charles Xatluin, of Avney Road, Remuera, entertained a number of guests yesterday afternoon at her residence. The occasion was her son Peter's birthday, and the guests as they strolled through the beautiful gardens and artistically furnished rooms spent an enjoyable two hours. The hostess received her guests in a geranium red ninon ensemble. Prominent among the floral decorations were the huge heads, in every colour, of hydrangea.
