GOLD REEF DISCOVERED.
FINE AT WAIHI BEACH. (By Telegraph.—-Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. The chairman of the Waihi Prospecting Association, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, received a message from Waihi Beach this morning to the effect that a reef had been discovered by Mr. .T. Anderson who is prospecting in the vicinity where Mr. McKee and party are driving on another fairly large lode. The latter party is working under the Unemployment Board's subsidised mining scliemc, assisted by the Waihi Prospecting Association. Further work and investigation will be necessary to prove the nature and ! value of the new find.
