GEELONG BOY'S GREAT KNOCK. VICTORIANS BEAT WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Geelong Grammar School touring cricket team gained a narrow victory over a Wellington eleven yesterday, scoring the necessary runs with two wickets in iiand and five minutes left for play. The concluding day's play was marked by an outstanding innings by D. O. Hay, who scored 100 for the visitors. Wellington declared with four wickets down for 260 (Morgan S3, Bezzant 62). Requiring 306 runs to win, the visitors lost their first wicket tat 14, but Hay and Dicker added 189 for the second wicket. Following Hay's dismissal, the Geelong wickets fell quickly, but Wellington's total was passed at five minutes to six. WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION.
