"TAKING A CHANCE."
Frederick James Wilson <Ud not nppcar in the Police Court this morning in answer to a summons charging him with being found on the Ellorsliu racecourse on Boxing Day while a rare meeting was being held, having , previously been convicted of bookmaking ami therefore excluded from the course. Detective Brady said he accosted defendant, who admitted that he knew lie had no right on the course, but was taking the chance. The magistrate imposed a fine of £■*> and costs.
