THIEVES AT WORK.
TWO VISITS TO ONE FIRM. The factory of J. S. Bell, Ltd., Ponsoiiby Road, and the firm's showroom in Strand Arcade, Queen Street, were visited by thieves last, evening. Admisforcing a window, but nothing was stolen. At the showroom admission was by a side door in the Arcade which was forced by a jemmy, many marks being left showing a determined effort to get inside. From a drawer in the office £3 was taken.
