OVER THE PACIFIC.
U.S. FORMATION FLIGHT. (Received 2 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 10. A massed flight of huge United States Navy seaplanes was commenced at 2 o'clock to-day. The 'planes hopped off for Honolulu, and it is expected that they will cover the 2400 miles in 24 hours. The 'planes, six in number, arc making the flight as a training test. Warships are patrolling the route in case of mishap.
