ROWING.
OPOTIKI V. WHAKATANE. A challenge 3ms been entered by the Wliakntane Rowing Club to the Opotiki Club (holders) for the coveted King's Pic--ture Trophy, which has been the token of victory in contests between these twp clubs for many years past. This year's races will be rowed at Opotiki on Sunday next, and the cup crew from the Whakatane Club is:—Norman (s), Marshall, Partridge, rickworth. Three other crews will visit Opotiki next Sunday, the personnel being:— Lightweight.—Dent (s), Bracken, Delaliunty, Brown. Youths.—Grace (s), Righton, Beckett, Chamberlain. Novices. —Shannon (s), Ferry, Fountain, Armstrong.
