CENTRE'S EVENING MEETING. The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association decided several events at the Domain last evening. The amateur athletic carnival held on the Wliakatane Domain on December 27 has been the means of firmly establishing the sport in that district. It was the first time that local athletes had competed with such star performers as Furlong. Quinn, Schneideman and company. The club will be strongly represented at the Waikato championships at Cambridge on Saturday, .Tanuary 20. The following will most likely be competing there :—.T. Cutler, O. Davies, G. and H.
