ITALY'S ATTITUDE TO LEAGUE
LONDON, January 7.
The Foreign Secretary, Sir John Simon, arrived in London. Ho says he trusts and believes that Iris conversations in Paris and Rome will prove a useful contribution to the cause of the European agreement which, is essential to security and peace. An outstanding feature of a communique issued to the Press is the statement that Italy has no intention of forcing forward the reform of the League of Nations at present, but can bo counted upon to play a prominent part in the proceedings at Geneva.
