WOOL SHIPMENTS.
From .Tuly 1 to Kovember 30 shipments of wool from the Commonwealth totalled 1.293.236 bales, the figures showing an increase of 150,512 bales, compared with the same period of the preceding season. The following shows the exports made to the principal destinations during the five months of last season and this season:— 1032. 1033. Bales. Bales, fnited Kingdom ... 857.622 427,781 Japan 212,212 260.207 Germany 170,131 191,567 Belgium 113,331 174,716 France ..'. 180,030 108,001 Italy 74.005 83,705 PoWind 8,676 22,157 United States 1.142 10,054 Netherlands 037 4.469 Canada 1,372 3.197 Switzerland ' 3.655 2.307 Sweden 1,785 1,761 India 2.402 1.221 Notable increases are displayed in the quantity taken by the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and Belgium, but the French figures showed the reduced buying which has been experienced on that account during the first half of the selling year.
