GIRL INJURED
MISHAP AT MARAETAI. Swinging on some rata vines in the bush near Maraetai Beach last evening, a 13-year-old girl, Joan Kidd, of 5, Aratonga Avenue, Green Lane, fell and struck her head on a rock. After receiving attention at a nearby house, she was taken to the Auckland Hospital by St. John Ambulance. Her condition is to-day reported to bo satisfactory.
