Public notice is hereby j£\j2as3[\ given that the following B&W_«iWIJ Resolution, passed at a ■Js*a xv'kJ-* Special Meeting of the %-~SvsoiaaV-~f Auckland City Council convened for that purpose and held on THURSDAY, the 14th day of December, 3933, and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council to be held on TUESDAY, the 16th day of January. 1934, in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland, at 2 o'clock p.m., viz.:— "In pursuance and exercise of tne powers vested in it In that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. and the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council doth hereby by Special Order resolve :— resolve: — (a) To borrow the sum of £100,000 by ■way of special loan to be known as the ADDITIONAL LOAN 1883 REDEMPTION LOAN 1934 for the purpose of paying off portion of a special ionn of £200,000 raised by the Auckland City Concil and maturing on the first day of January, 1934, and (b) to borrow the further sum of £100,000 by way of special loan to be known as the STREETS IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1913 (£225,000) REDEMPTION LOAN 1933 £100.000, for the purpose of paying off portion of a special loan of £225,000 raised by the Auckland City Council and maturing on the first day of January, 1934, ut a rate of interest not exceeding Four Pounds per centum per annum for a period of four years from the date or dates of the raising of the said loans, and that the security for each separate loan shall be a special rate of eight-thirteenths of a penny (8-13ths) in the £ in respect of each separate loan on the annual value of all rateable property in the City of Auckland."
