STAFF APPOINTMENT.
KING'S COLLEGE MASTER.
The board of governors of King's College has appointed Mr. W. G. Allen, 8.A., a member of the staff as teacher of music. Mr. Allen is an old boy of the Otago Boys' High School. He has studied music under Mr. E. Heywood, organist of St. Paul's Cathedral, Dunedin; Dr. V. Galway, lecturer in music at Otago University and city organist; and Mr. Clitheroe, lecturer in music at the Dunedin Training College. He has acted as deputy-organist at St. Paul's Cathedral, Dunedin, and was for three years at the Training College, Dunedin. He has had six years' practical experience in teaching.
