i A pretty wedding was solemnised by '' the Rev. Ivo. E. Bertram at St. Andrew's I Presbyterian Church on Wednesday last; ; when Jessie Ferguson, youngest daughter t of Mrs. and the late Mr. Kenneth 5' Stewart, of Graftou, was married to lan Ferguson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. l C. McKinnon, of Kaitaia. The bride, » who entered the church on the arm of i her brother, Mr. H. Stewart, wore a charmingly simple frock of white ytatin, ! made with a rounded yoke and/ cowl 'l sleeves. The bodice was finished at the ! back with a row of small buttons and a ' plaited girdle fastened by a soft bow. The skirt, whicli was close-fitting to the • hips, flared gracefully to the feet. The • veil was held in place at the cars by t posies of orange blossoms, and she ' carried a sheaf of Christmas lilies. Attending the bride were two bridesmaids, Miss Greta Stewart, sister of the bride, and Miss Olive Jewell. They were dressed alike in graceful gowns of cyclamen ! pink crepe faille, made with close-fitting 1 bodices, puffed sleeves and skirt flaring ' to the feet. Their hats of pink straw ' were finished with flat bows of soft rib--1 bon. Beautiful bouquets of pink gladioli, ■ sweet peas and carnations completed the 1 ensembles. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Bruce McKinnon as best man and Mr. Murdoch McLetxl (Whangarei) as groomsman. A reception was afterwards held at the Domain Kiosk, where Mrs. Stewart received her guests wearing a black crepe de chine ensemble, relieved with black and white, and a black hat. She carried a bouquet in tonings of deep pink. Mrs, McKinnon, mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of deep blue marocain, with j hat to tone, and carried a wine red bouquet.
