END OF AERIAL TOUR.
The ten days' tour of the Auckland province by four 'planes of the Auckland Aero Club was completed yesterday, when the machines returned to Mangere aerodrome. They had been piloted by the club's chief instructor, Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allan, FlyingOfficers I. Horton and E. B. Firth, and Pilot-Officer R. A. Kirkup. Places visited included Taupo, Kotorua, Kaitaia, Mangonui, Kerikeri, _ Xaikohe, Waipu and Kuawai, In all, 350 passenjrers were taken up at the various centres, and hundreds of spectators witnessed the daring displays of aerobatics given by the chief instructor.
