ALLEGED BETRAYAL.
VERDICT EOR PEER'S BROTHER. Captain the Hon. "Standish Bruce O'Grady, brother and heir of Viscount Guillauiore, received a verdict in his favour in the Dublin High Court. He was sued for damages by Mr. George .Lyons, of Bofin Lodge, Bunnakill, Connemara, chief inspector of fisheries and secretary to the Galway Board of Conservators, for the alleged betrayal of hid daughter Vera, aged eighteen. The jury were absent for an hour and three-quarters. Towards the end of the hearing Mr. Justice lianna called Miss Lyons to the witness-box and asked whether she would swear on oath who was the father of her child. In a low voice the girl replied: "Yes, my lord, it was Captain O'Grady."
