OBITUARY.
MR. A. G. TATTON. ■ i (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The death occurred on Tuesday at his home at Maungatapere of Mr. Arthur George Tatton, at the age of 63 years. Mr. Tatton was born in New Plymouth, in 1870 and received his education there. ■He commenced work in the Waitara freezing works at the age of 18, and in 1902 was appointed engineer, a position he held until 1917, when his health, made it necessary for him to come North. Hβ was occupied in farming at Maungatapere for the past 16 years. Mr. Tatton was a Taranaki Rugby representative and was also captain of the Waitara Rowing Clu-b for a number of years. He was a member of the Waitara Borough Council, and since coming North a director of the Springhead Dairy Company for 15 years. Hβ is survived by his wife, four sons and one daughter.
MR. H. E. BLYTH.
The death of Mr. Herbert Earl Blyth occurred recently at the residence of Mrs. Fraser, 16, Golf Road, Epsom. Mr. Blyth was born at Marybank, Wanganu'i, in 1861, and joined the service of the Bank of New South Wales at an early age. He was stationed at various branches throughout New Zealand, and at the time of his retirement was accountant of the Auckland branch. About this time Mr. Blyth met with a very bad accident, which had the effect of making him more or less an invalid for the rest of his life.
