HIGHER WAGES.
TRADES UNION MOVEMENT. LONDON, January 2. Officials indicate that the trades union movement intends in 19.34 to prosecute a national campaign for increases in wages. They- say that trade is on the up-grade, the fall in wholesale commodity prices has been checked, and the time is ripe for more money to be driven into circulation. There must first be an unqualified restoration of the cuts made during the economic blizzard, the officials declare.
