I i i One hundred and fifty girl guides from ' all parts of the Auckland province left by *■ train this morning for Waimauku to go j | into camp for ten days on Mr. J. 11. | Houghton's farm at Motutara. Another . I party of 150 girls left by train this after- , I noon. i The camp was pitched by an advance ! party of about 40 girls last Saturday, and i everything was ready this morning for the • visitors. The camp commandant is Miss 5 Mona Burgin, head of training. I The party, on arrival at Waimauku this morning, were met with motor lorries and j similar arrangements were made for the t second party. The camp is four miles from the station. There are 70 tents, and the I girls are grouped. Each group will do its • own cooking. The camp course will include i instruction in the various branches of
